March 4th -8th is “Severe Weather Preparedness Week." Each day highlights a different aspect of severe weather preparation.
Monday is focused on how you receive weather information. Tuesday is lightning. Wednesday is Tornadoes…On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM State Emergency Management and the NWS will conduct a Statewide Severe Weather Tornado Drill. Every school, citizen, and business is encouraged to participate in the drill.
Thursday is Wind and Hail and Friday is Flooding.
