FEMA and the Federal Communications Commission, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts at approximately 1:20 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Test messages will go to radios, cell phones and televisions.
